Remos solar power plant

Remos Novo mesto, d.o.o. installed a solar power plant with a total peak power of 516.12 kWp on the roofs of the warehouse and production premises at Livada 21, Novo mesto.
 
The facility is owned by Remos Novo mesto, d.o.o. and connected to all infrastructure, including the national electricity grid.
 
With the investment in a new solar power plant, the investor applied for the Public Tender for the co-financing of operations for the construction of new small production facilities for the production of electricity using solar energy, which was published by the Ministry of Infrastructure. The investor obtained a financial incentive in the amount of 20% of eligible investment costs.
 
The investment will result in the production of electricity in an environmentally friendly way, which will contribute to the preservation of nature, raising environmental awareness, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving the quality of the living environment. The installation of a solar power plant on the roof surface of the storage and production premises also means economic management of the property and improvement of the investor's business. At the annual level, the expected reduction in CO2 emissions is 240.10 tons. The planned annual produced energy from renewable energy sources (RES) is 539.15 MWh. The planned share of energy from RES in the total consumption is 35%. The annual consumption is approx. 140 MWh.
 
Implementation work carried out between September 2022 and December 2022, and the solar power plant is expected to start operating in December 2022.
 
The public tender is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union, namely from the Cohesion Fund.
